Large ribosomal subunit protein bL9
Also known as: Rv0056, rplI
Function
Binds to 23S rRNA. In this organism 23S rRNA helices H15 and H16a are extended and form a 'kissing loop'; bL9 binds to H15 via both its N- and C-termini.
